- 7:30 am : Our car and guide will meet you at your hotel in the Hoi An. If you are in Da Nang City, we will pick you up at 8.00 am – 8h30. Sit back, relax and start to enjoy the scenic drive!
- 9:30 am: Pass over Hai Van Pass, named by Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson as “probably the greatest coastal roads in the world”. Stop at the Hai Van Quan, the highest point between Da Nang and Hue for a photograph opportunity. Besides that, experience the full view of the breathtaking Lang Co Bay. Then, you have an opportunity to see Lap An Lagoon – brackish water lagoon (picturesque scenery with mountain, white clouds reflected in water) in Hue.
- 11:30 am: Arrive in Hue city and start to visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, constructed for the emperor in 1920 and constructed on the principle of Feng Shui. Being unique among the royal tombs in Hue, it is monumental in style and bombastic in execution.
- 12:30 pm: Take a break and enjoy a delicious local food.
- 1:30 pm: Visit the The Citadel, the last royal city in Vietnam that contains the imperial city. It is built by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. This citadel complex is remains Hue’s most popular and most important historic site.
- 3:00 pm: Discover the Thien Mu Pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda), a Buddhist monastery which origins dating back to 1601. It is one of the oldest and holiest sites in Hue. This pagoda is also the unofficial symbol of the ancient city Hue.
- 4:00 pm: Get on a car along the Perfume River. Take in the peaceful scenery as you head back to the Hue city center.
Arrive in Da Nang approximately 7:00pm/ Hoi An 8:00 pm. We will take you back to your hotel where your tour will finish Hoi An to Hue day trip.

– Lang Co Bay, Lap An Lagoon: Lap An Lagoon was also known as An Cu lagoon that is famous for its rich history, wonderful nature, ancient tombs, the Citadel and gorgeous beauty. The stunning area is surrounded by Bach Ma mountains and crystal green beaches. Located at the side of Lang Co Bay and Bach Ma national park, Lagoon looks like a huge mirror with the reflection of the sky. Visit the Bay area from March to June to enjoy the fairy tale romantic beauty and peace of the area.

– Khai Dinh Tomb: Khai Dinh Tomb is the ancient mausoleum of the last emperor of Vietnam. This is the stunning piece of art and architecture constructed with ceramic, concrete cement, glass, metal and wood. There are no trees, gardens, lakes in the tomb area like ancient religious buildings had in Vietnam. Locals said that the king was close to French. It was considered as a weird styled building and waste of money where as now it is visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world to appreciate the heritage.

– Imperial Citadel in Hue is one of the seven UNESCO world heritage sites in Vietnam. It is a must-visit tourist attraction that we cover in Hoi AN to Hue Day trip. 140 years back, this ancient imperial city was a walled fortress and palace. It was the capital city Nguyen Dynasty located on the northern bank of Huong River. There are ten gates of the Imperial City and different areas containing houses, mansions and complicated canal system. It is divided into two parts one is the Citadel and other is the forbidden city.

– Thien Mu Pagoda : Thien Mu Pagoda is also known as Linh Mu Pagoda or Heaven Fairy lady pagoda. It is located on the bank of famous Perfume river on Ha Khe hill. This is considered as one of the ancient and most amazing pagodas in the city. There is a very special legend associated with the pagoda. In the ancient times, an old woman came on the hill at the location of pagoda. She told people that a Lord will build a Buddhist pagoda for the prosperity of the country in this area. After that Lord Nguyen Hoang started construction of the pagoda and named it “heaven fairy lady” that translates to Thien Mu.
